Supporting Us

While the St. Mary’s Health Clinics provide medical care at no cost to the patient, that does not mean that it costs nothing to run the organization and pay for the supplies and services provided.   St. Mary’s Health Clinics are able to get a lot of bang out of each buck that is donated by many generous individuals, groups and foundations.  Following are some ways you can help St. Mary’s Health Clinics provide quality health care to those in our society and neighborhoods who can least afford it.

Contributions

Contributions may be mailed to St. Mary's Health Clinics Corporate Office at 1884 Randolph Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55105. A letter acknowledging your contribution will be sent to you. Following are a few types of contributions typically received by the St. Mary's Health Clinics:

Memorials
What a lovely way to remember a loved one who has died. Giving a gift, no matter what size, to St. Mary's Health Clinics in memory of a loved one helps those less fortunate maintain, and sometimes regain, their health.

Honorariums
What do you give the person who has everything? Give the gift of hope and health to someone who has no means to provide it for themselves.  A gift in honor of a birthday, an anniversary, Christmas, promotion, wedding, etc. always fits and will never gather dust.

General Donations
Need an extra tax deduction?  Feel that life has been good to you and now it’s time to give a little back?  Understand that justice isn’t limited to the courtroom?  You might want to consider making a general donation to the work of the St. Mary’s Health Clinics.  Most donations are tax deductible  (see your tax planner for details)  and they benefit those in our society and neighborhoods who work hard just to keep a roof over their, and their children’s heads. Many organizations such as churches, women’s groups, men’s groups, business associations, etc. donate funds to the St. Mary’s Health Clinics.

Grants
The CSJ Ministries Foundation writes grants on behalf of the St. Mary’s Health Clinics to help defray the cost of providing free medical care for the over 6,000 patient visits the Clinics record each year.  For more information about the CSJ Ministries Foundation, see their web site at http://www.csjministriesfoundation.org

In Kind Donations
St. Mary’s Health Clinics can accept some in-kind donations.  For more information about those items which the Clinics are in need of, or if they can use an item which you have, contact Diane Peters at (651) 287-7722.
