Katie graduated from St. Olaf College in May 1999 with a degree in Social Work. Growing up she had the opportunity to spend time in Puebla, Mexico and Montevideo, Uruguay, in addition to travels throughout Europe. She believes in the human rights of everyone and believes in the golden rule that you should treat people as you would like to be treated. Right now, with so many individuals without health insurance, it is vital that we ensure that everyone has access to medical care. Katie enjoys spending time with her two teenage daughters, going to the cabin and traveling.
